Life Journaling

Life Journal Entry #2

Have your child think about words that describe him/herself. Then have him/her write the words on a smaller piece of paper or directly into his/her journal. Encourage your child to "decorate" the words with fun designs bordering the letters. Extend this journal entry by choosing a scripture to correspond with one or all of the descriptive words. Add these scriptures to your child's journal page entry.

Remember, journaling is a great activity to do alongside your child. As you work together - writing, cutting, creating - conversation starts to happen and relationship tends to grow. Blessings.
