"And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you." ~ Ephesians 4:32

"Love is patient, love is kind." ~ 1 Corinthians 13:4

"Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always try to be kind to each other and to everyone else." ~ 1 Thessalonians 5:15

Random Acts of Kindness Calendar ~ Printable random acts of kindness calendars are available here: Kindness Calendars. Use these calendars with your child as a guideline for showing kindness to others. Encourage your child to record his/her acts of kindness and their effects on others in his/her journal.

Kindness Prayer~ Have your child write a prayer in his/her journal asking God to help him/her to be kind and to show kindness to others.

Kindness in the Bible Brainstorm~ Discuss with your child "acts of kindness" that are seen in the Bible. Some examples may be the boy who gave his bread and fish to feed the 5000 (John 6:1-14) or The Good Samaritan (Luke 10:30-37).
